Outcomes:Board effectiveness reviews and governance committee best practice assessments for better boards and governance

• usage of board dynamics models to collaboratively assess the current state, with recommendations for evolution
• reference to applicable regulatory requirements (eg. UK Corporate Governance Code, Charity Commission, ICO, etc.) overlaid upon governance structures to observe potential opportunities for improvements in delegations of authorities and oversight activities
• recommendations for governance best practices, including delegation of authority, committee structures, agenda structuring, papers contents, action tracking, and minute-taking
• thought leadership contribution to the #R29 movement, working closely with founder Dr Tony Breslin to explore cross-sector governance commonalities through research, roundtables, and proposed formation of a Better Governance Commission - see our article published in Issue 289 of Governance magazine (September 2018).
